Everyone is Unique. Everybody has experiences that are unique to them. Everyone one has some unique knowledge. Writing is about conveying an idea, a thought, or special information or insight.

There's a book in everyone. Each of us lives a life of unique circumstances and experiences that results in building a body of knowledge... knowledge that has value and that can be packaged into a book and sold to others. The greatest obstacle is the know-how to create and publish it, and how to market and sell it.

The first thing you need to do is to come up with an ACTION PLAN of how to make the project happen. Brainstorm your idea. Look at it from all angles. Dr. Ken Evoy has some excellent information on the subject. Again, you are the one that decides how fast you progress through your ACTION STEPS. No one will be standing there prodding you to continue. Your desire for it is the only thing that will propel you along. You must know what your purpose is. Use that purpose to guide your project.

You don't need anything else to succeed at selling what's in your brain. The only limitation to turning your knowledge into gold is the one(s) that you put on yourself. You decide whether or not you will sit down and record what you know. You are the one to decide whether or not your life experiences are valuable. And even if yours aren't, you probably know someone who would be more than happy to partner with you. USE YOUR IMAGINATION!
