There are a couple of elements that ensure the right door for your opening. First is the mounting location. Strip doors are either mounted on a wall or in a jamb. Wall mount strip doors overlap the openings in Width and Height. The standard overlap is 6". The overlap in width may vary depending on application, clearance and/or obstructions. In Jamb Mounts strip doors are manufactured to the EXACT opening in Width and Height you specify. All of StripDoorsDirect.com's door are custom made.

Once deciding on a place to mount you strip door, there are three different types of strip door options to best meet your application: LOC Rib, Low Temp, and Smooth.

The LOC Rib feature helps keep your strip doors looking new. It prevents it from scratching against itself providing you a clear strip door for a longer period of time. This feature cost 20% more then the standard strip door. The Low Temp feature is USDA rated for freezer to -40 degrees. The standard material is for Walk in collers and Ambient +160 to -20 degrees. The smooth is our standard material and is rated as a barrier only and is recommended for pedestrial traffic only.
