Hi my name is Lenny Tompkins, I dont know how this page got to you but you should be extremely glad you taking the time to look at it. I going to tell you a short story (I hope it's short) hopefully you will find it interesting.
I was a trucker for 16 years running all 48 out on the road for sometimes weeks at a time, I own my truck and trailer made a decent living. The one thing about trucking is you spend alot of time just sitting in your executive chair looking out the window. Now I have been a business owner pretty much all of my adult life I have own service companies, stores, and was in the night club business before I went trucking. I got tired of being gone all the time so I decided it was time for my next business. I hired a driver for the truck last November (still make a little money from the trucking business) and sat down at my desktop to find my next venture. I guess everybody started that way at one time or another. I have good basic computer skills (at least I thought I did) but you can probably firgure out how this story is going to go from here. I had always been interested in personal growth and had studied a few people so I got a little more into that. I started to look for the ways people make money from home. Now being the savay business person I am I thought this going to be a piece of cake (are you laughin yet) I spent days, weeks locked in my office in the back of the house going though the hundreds of thousands of different offers out there. I must say some appeared to be interesting. Well I got to the point where I decided I wanted a web business I was sure I could make a killing with E-stores. I wanted my own site you know total control,I was going to do it my way. I guess that was my first mistake by now it's early Dec. I'm not worried I knew it would take some time I had some start up capital. I got a call from a company that had a good line about how they could teach me how to build these great webstores and host them for me it came with mentor sessions and I'd be on my way to being a rich in a couple of month's (I know your laughin now).
Well I was always of the mind to learn how to do things from scratch so I figured having someone teach me and walk me though my first webstore was a good Idea so I forked over my 9000 dollars and I went to work learning and building (would you like me to wait a minute till your done rolling around on the floor laughing) Are You OK down there anyway the mentoring turned to be just 1 half hour call once a week where this guy would give alot of pages to go look at and stuff to read about how to build a site using their system and how I need to think more like a business owner and work on my personal growth and leadership skills (which as I said I was already doing) and to get to building my site as I went along in their manual. (OK that enough laughing now your giving me a complex). I followed their complex manual and worked on it and worked on it and revised it again and again until it wasn't half bad but by now it's Feb and I still have not made a dime. I get a call one day from a nice man who says I signed up on this website that I was interested in working from home which I probably did I was always filling out something to get into this site or that site. He says he has this business opportunity where with his leadership I would be making thousands of dollars a month in no time. (now there you go laughin again). I checked out the company and it a good company, great products, well run and there are alot of people making great money with it but not the kind of money he talked about not right away at least it still has great potencial. I dont give up easy though so I worked their system followed their leadership, studied, bought leads and more leads and more leads and I brought in a few good people and trained them to do as I had done explaining it's slow going at first take money to make money right? I went to their phone calls and meetings and worked on my goal setting and leadership skills trying to built my team. I was thinking if I could just get over the hump I'd be OK. Well May fly's by and as june is slipping away I started thinking things are getting a little tight all this lead buying and meeting going and working with my downline is not putting money in the bank. By now I have got holes in the boat and I am sinking fast but as I said before I don't give up that easy at least now my web skills are a lot better and I get to work. There is a lot of money to made out there on the web but it not as easy as some people would have you to believe. You have to know where to look and how to work the tools out there to get it flowing.
I know now what it takes I have built affiliate pages and splash pages and worked the search engines and enizes.
I now build traffic to my sites and capture my own leads but still everyday is a learning experience but at least now the flow has started (see I told you I don't give up that easy).
What it comes down to is great tools and information and this tool SBI is hands down the best I have seen great support, all in one site to build a site, have it hosted, market it, with built in traffic drivers and lots of other goodies. I know you probably want to do the hard way like me but at least take a look, kick the tires, take it for a
test drive. You can always come back after you spend all your money and time doing as I did but if I were you I'd look at it now and you can Thank me Later.
